Heat beat Bulls without LeBron

A four-time NBA Most Valuable Player LeBron James was held out by Miami Heat on their home game on Sunday against Chicago Bulls because of his broken nose which he gets in their game against Oklahoma City last Thursday.

LeBron James scored 33 points with seven rebounds in a 103-81 win over the Thunders, but left the game after he was hit in the face by Oklahoma City’s Serge Ibaka on his way to the basket. James broke his nose midway through the fourth quarter of Thursday's victory at Oklahoma City and sat out the rest of the game. His nose was reset by a doctor Friday and he missed the practice Saturday.

Greg Oden, a former No.1 overall draft picks mounting a comeback from knee trouble, replaced James in the lineup. Oden scored five points with five rebounds in 13 minutes.

Teammate Dwyane Wade said. "It doesn't hurt at all. When you're in such a great rhythm, you don't want anything to stop that. But at the same time, to get this time off to regroup, when he comes back on the court — hopefully Thursday — he'll feel a little fresher. That'll take him to the end of the season for sure. He doesn't need much."

James is leading the Heat with an average 26.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 6.5 assists in 52 games this season.
